Vintech RCAM-Xpress is

a standalone, 32-bit, Microsoft® Windows (XP/Vista/7) / Linux based CAD system - a functionally reduced version of Vintech RCAM, which:

  • has advanced capabilities for automatic or interactive true shape nesting with on-line control against overlapping,

  • has an advanced user interface, unicode based multi language support,

  • provides "down-up"compatibility of projects with Vintech RCAM/RCAM-Pro.

Vintech RCAM-Xpress is intended for:

  • nesting of orders before the materials delivery (preliminary nesting),

  • creating patterns for copy machines.

Imports parts geometry

Imports geometry from DXF, structured DXF and ESSI formats or builds models by built-in parametric macros for common shapes.

  • Vintech RCAM-Xpress uses the models of parts, the way it is created with CAD system or by built-in parametric macros.

  • The input geometry can be defined by lines, arcs and splines.

  • Automatically filters and cleans overlaps, crossings, mismatch of end points and other geometrical conflicts.

  • Automatically identifies contours for processing.

  • Extends every part with attributes: name, ref. no, order, product, quantity and etc,

  • The input geometry can be of one or many parts. In case of many parts, Vintech RCAM-Xpress imports the geometry as a multi-part, preserving the mutual nesting position of every part.

Manages the nesting places – plates and frames

No practical restrictions on plates' shape and size.

  • Vintech RCAM-Xpress provides defining a multitude of plates of standard sizes in a project and each standard size uses quantity restricted by limit.

  • Nests objects on rectangular or any-shaped plates, on a usable remnant. Maintains history of the „running out“ of plates in a project.

  • Creates one or many frames for plate processing. Nests objects on the part of the plate, determined by current frame.

Nests objects automatically, semi-automatically, interactively, in any sequence, with unbounded nesting depth

Performs optimal tight nesting, with an automatic on-line control of overlap.

  • Manages the quantities using job and the sequence of parts' nesting using queue. Provides the user with a variety of ways for applying their own nesting strategies.

  • Manages multiplicity of the nesting layouts.

  • Creates variants of nesting by managing the active and inactive nesting layouts.

Has advanced functionality to manage blocks

With no constraints creates blocks of parts, other blocks, paths and routes.

  • Creates blocks with any complexity.

  • Adds the created blocks in the nesting queue. Nests blocks on the plate controlling the quantity of the parts.

  • Creates dynamic blocks by selecting objects in the current frame and provides their interactive nesting, until depletion of the belonging parts in the job.

Generates technological and organizational documents

Generates documents from the current project in HTML, DXF and PDF formats.

  • Exports job and geometry of its belonging parts,

  • Creates different kinds of:

    - nesting layout specifications,

    - generalized specifications of the project,

     - generalized specifications by products/orders.

Configuration

The standard configuration of the system includes network-concurrent license of Vintech RCAM-Xpress.
